Daniel Bacon had a stint of 9 episodes of Stargate Sg-1 from season 2 thru 4 as the gate technician. This was a role Gary Jones originated and played for the duration of the show and when Gary had to miss a few episodes Dan filled in for him. Dan also played Madame X's (played by Nana Visitor of Deep Space 9) technical assisitant on 3 episodes of Dark Angel and had roles on Supernatural, The 4400 and in the feature film Fantastic Four. Dan's latest sci-fi role was as Dr. James Watson on Stargate Atlantis in the episode "Sunday." Fans of the show will know this as the fateful episode that Atlantis's favorite Scottish Doctor, Carson Beckett, meets his unfortunate end. It is while saving Dr Watson's life that Dr Beckett dies.
