Eric Pierpoint

Eric Pierpoint was born in Redlands, California,
and raised in Washington D.C. where he received his MFA from The
Catholic University of America. While performing at CUA, The Olney
Theater, and Fords theater he also began to develop his television
career. He later toured with National Players.
Mr. Pierpoint made the move to New York in 1980
where be continued to have success in theater and television before
finding his way out to Los Angeles En 1984, landing the starring
role in the short lived
series, HOT PURSUIT. From that came a stint on
HILL STREET BLUES and FAME. Over the years Mr. Pierpoint has
recurred on many television series SILK STALKINGS, MR. STERLING,
STAR TREK, BIG LOVE, WIOU and guest starred on dozens more, the most
recent being CSI THE ELEVENTH HOUR, BROTHERS AND SISTERS, MEDIUM,
CSI MIAMI.
Science fiction audiences remember him as George
Francisco of the Fox cult hit, ALIEN NATION. He also appeared in
STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENENERATION, VOYAGER, DEEP SPACE NINE,
recurring in ENTERPRISE. Other Sci-Fi shows include BABYLON 5 and
the feature, INVADERS FROM MARS.
The big screen has seen him with Jim Carey in LIAR
LIAR, THE WORLD’S FASTEST INDIAN with Anthony Hopkins, HOLES,
FOREVER YOUNG, WHERE TRUTH LIES and coming up, TRANSFORMERS II. Also
coming out soon in Film festivals are PHIL COBBS DINNER FOR FOUR,
FOUR WEEKS FOUR HOURS, and TV VIRUS. Mr. Pierpoint also writes and
one or his screenplays, BITTERROOT, a western, has been in
development with STARZ Ent. For the Hallmark Channel.
Over his career be has appeared on stage in New
York in HARMS WAY, PANACHE, AND DANGEROUS CORNER. In Los Angeles in
MISSOURI WALTZ with Karen Black, OURSELVES ALONE, GREENSWARD, THE
CIRCLE, and RICHARD III.
In the early years, he appeared in regional
theaters in A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE, A MIDSUMMER NIGHTS DREAM, A
MAN FOR ALL SEASONS, THE HASTY HEART, MACBETH. Upcoming will be THE
LION IN WINTER.
