Gary Graham was born in Long Beach, California and grew up in and around Orange County. The son of a medical doctor, he too aspired to a career in medicine.  However despite showing much prowess at the medical sciences, Gary left pre-med to study theater arts at the University of California, Irvine, in the early seventies, before he won his first feature film role opposite George C. Scott in "HARDCORE."

Since that time Gary has appeared in numerous feature films such as "ROBOT JOX", "THE LAST WARRIOR", "MAN TROUBLE", and "STEEL", TV movies and series, such as "JAG", "WALKER TEXAS RANGER", and "NASH BRIDGES" and from 1990 to 1996 starred as Matt Sikes in FOX TV's "ALIEN NATION". More recently he has reappeared as Ambassador Soval in the new Star Trek pilot, "ENTERPRISE".

A veteran of the film and television industry, Gary shares his many experiences, tips, anecdotes, and star stories acquired from twenty-four years of actually working in the movie business in his book, Acting and Other Flying Lessons

Now married with a daughter, he lives in a quiet town outside of Los Angeles, where he enjoys horseback riding, skiing, and mountain biking, spending time with his family...and flying.

In addition, Gary is an EMT volunteer Ski Patroller at Mt. High, a firearms expert and an Instructor Development Candidate at Front Sight Firearms Training Institute in Las Vegas Nevada, as well as a volunteer member of the ACPS, the American Council on Personal Safety.
