Gary Graham
Gary Graham
was born in Long Beach, California and grew up in and around Orange
County. The son of a medical doctor, he too aspired to a career in
medicine. However
despite showing much prowess at the medical sciences, Gary left
pre-med to study theater arts at the University of California,
Irvine, in the early seventies, before he won his first feature film
role opposite George C. Scott in "HARDCORE."
Since
that time Gary has appeared in numerous feature films such as "ROBOT
JOX", "THE LAST WARRIOR", "MAN TROUBLE", and "STEEL", TV movies and
series, such as "JAG", "WALKER TEXAS RANGER", and "NASH BRIDGES" and
from 1990 to 1996 starred as Matt Sikes in FOX TV's "ALIEN NATION".
More recently he has reappeared as Ambassador Soval in the new Star
Trek pilot, "ENTERPRISE".
A
veteran of the film and television industry, Gary shares his many
experiences, tips, anecdotes, and star stories acquired from
twenty-four years of actually working in the movie business in his
book, Acting and Other Flying Lessons
Now
married with a daughter, he lives in a quiet town outside of Los
Angeles, where he enjoys horseback riding, skiing, and mountain
biking, spending time with his family...and flying.
In
addition, Gary is an EMT volunteer Ski Patroller at Mt. High, a
firearms expert and an Instructor Development Candidate at Front
Sight Firearms Training Institute in Las Vegas Nevada, as well as a
volunteer member of the ACPS, the American Council on Personal
Safety.
