Actress Julie Benz,
who once ranked 13th in the country
in ice skating, handed in her skates for acting class after a
devastating leg injury. A graduate of New York University's
illustrious theater program, Julie is best known as Darla on the hit
show "Buffy the Vampire Slayer"
and "Angel".
She was hand-picked by Steven Spielberg for
his Emmy award winning mini-series
"Taken".
She recently stretched her comedy muscles in Disney's
"George of the Jungle 2".
Her other credits include Marci Fox in "Jawbreaker"
with Rose McGowan and Rebecca Gayheart,
"The Brothers" with Bill Bellamy,
"Peacemakers"
with Tom Berenger and she appeared
oppposite Jack Nicholson in the Oscar winning film
