Juliet Landau
Juliet
Landau co-starred in Tim Burton’s highly acclaimed ED WOOD as
“Loretta King” and starred opposite Whoopi Goldberg and Armin
Mueller-Stahl in New Line Cinema’s THEODORE REX. She created the
role of “Drusilla” on BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER, appearing on BUFFY
and ANGEL over the course of six seasons.
Juliet’s
latest endeavors include starring in HACK opposite William Forsythe,
starring in Tobe Hooper’s TOOLBOX MURDERS, co-starring in Henry
Jaglom’s GOING SHOPPING and starring in REUNION as Dallas attourney
“Lisa Calders.” She can also be seen starring in the divers
Independent films REPOSSESSED opposite JoBeth Williams, CARLO’S WAKE
opposite Rita Moreno, Michael Chiklis and Christpher Meloni, LIFE
AMONG THE CANNIBALS, RAVAGER, DIRECT HIT and CITIZENS.
Television
appearances include “Jeannie” on Fox’s MILLENIUM, the tour de force
dual role of “Jan/Sarah” on LA FEMME NIKITA and “Lorranie” on STRONG
MEDICINE. She has lent
her voice to the characters “Tala” and “Plastique” on the popular
animated series JUSTICE LEAGUE.
Juliet’s
much acclaimed theater credits include leading roles in Clifford
Odet’s AWAKE AND SING!
at the Pittsburgh Public Theater, the world premiere of FAILURE OF
NERVE, UNCOMMON WOMEN AND OTHERS, THE PUSHCART PEDDLERS, BILLY
IRISH, WE’RE TALKING TODAY HERE, the musical HOW TO STEAL AN
ELECTION, the West Coast premiere of IRISH COFFEE and the world
premiere of Murray Shisgal’s musical THE SONGS OF WAR.
She
was a professional ballerina and is a member of the Actors Studio.
