LEE ARENBERG is best known for his portrayal of Pintel the, “ELLO’ POPPET!” pirate in Walt Disney Pictures’ blockbuster series Pirates of the Caribbean. Although Curse of the Black Pearl, Dead Man’s Chest and At World’s End brought instant world wide acclaim to Lee they are the product of an acting career in its third decade. LEE has appeared in over 40 feature films, including Waterworld, Bob Roberts, Dungeons and Dragons and the upcoming indie features Quit and Ashley’s Ashes. Over the years, he has also charmed audiences with many memorable television roles from Seinfeld, Friends, and Tales of the Crypt to Star Trek: The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine, Voyager and Enterprise. LEE grew up in Santa Monica where high school “acting buddies” were Sean Penn, Emilio Estevez and Robert Downey Jr.. He credits much of his development as an actor to his participation in The Actor’s Gang, now a Los Angeles theatrical institution, founded in 1981 by LEE with Tim Robbins and other classmates from UCLA. LEE currently resides in Venice Beach, California with his wife, designer/stylist Katherine Meehan and their young son, Samuel.
